No life
Visited on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:00 PM as I was waiting for a friend to get discharged from Piedmont hospital. Only allowed myself and hour or two, and that was more than enough time. Parking was Five and there was no entry fee. The parking lot was almost empty and after I walked in I was not surprised as I was the first customer….maybe for the day. One more PL came in after me, but that was it. A small dance stage is directly in front when you enter, but there was no one dancing – understandable since there were no customers. Bathrooms are to the right as you enter, then the bar is beyond the bathrooms. Tree girls were sitting at the bar, one AA who was very skinny. One older SE Asian woman who used to dance at one of the old Sandy Springs clubs and a younger white girl. I knew the dancer from the Doll House, so I spent most of my time talking with her. Beers were limited in varieties and cost $7. Liquor drinks started at $10 and then went up. Kind of pricey for a club that was looking like it needed some work done. Very dark and tired looking. After getting a beer and buying my “friend” a drink, we moved away from the bar and got a couple of all contact dances. S- - - - - - does not bother wearing panties and wears a dress that has you starring at her sexy boobs with very responsive nipples. During the dances, I has full access to her body and she used her hands to give me a nice handshake. We never talked about VIP, but I am sure it would be enjoyable. No idea as to what the fee might be. If it had not been for knowing the girl I got the dances from, I am not sure how the visit may have gone. There was no life at all in the club. Not sure I would stop by again except for the one dancer.

Not really worth a visit
On a Tuesday evening, I decided to pop into Diamond before going to see Avengers for a second time at Atlantic Station. Diamond Club is definitely in Atlanta, but it's not exactly the most accessible strip club. It's located right before a highway ramp next to a rinky dink gas station on Northside. I actually managed to miss my right turn into the club and ended up making a loop on the highway to get back. Once finally in the parking lot there were maybe 3 other cars in the lot, and unlike a lot of Atlanta strip clubs this one wasn't filled with crater sized potholes which my car definitely appreciated. I was greeted at the door by security, brief pat down, and a $5 cover. The club has two small stages, with a row of lounge style seating lining the wall opposite of the bar. I didn't expect a ton of dancers, but I definitely didn't expect for there to be only two in the entire establishment. One was a chubby brown-skinned woman with curly hair and braces, that insisted I buy her Hennessy from the moment I saw her. Gave her a pretty hard pass, and noticed a second "slimmer" albeit not much more attractive light-skinned dancer chatting it up with an older gentleman. I instantly knew this place was going to be a waste of my time, but I still had an hour before the movie started so I went to the bar to order a beer. It may have been just because the place was basically empty, but I noticed I could hear myself think and wouldn't have to worry about ear damage from blaring music. They still played trap music, but at a reasonable volume. During my time there, I didn't see any of the other 3 customers get dances, so I don't have much to share on that front. After about 20 minutes of sitting idly nursing a Bud Light, I decided I'd rather wait in my car than be bored in a booty club.

I thought renovations made things nicer...
I saw that there hadn't been a review here for quite a while. I decided to expand my horizons and give it a daytime shot. I took one for the team. I haven't been here for at least a few name changes. Oddly, one dancer remembered me. She has been here (or came back) a LONG time. Too bad she isn't one of my favorites from here. There were several other dancers. Two were white (the one that remembered me, and a girl on her 4th day). Two were black, and one pudgy Latina. Ok, so one of the black girls wasn't overweight. One of the white girls wasn't fat... just a little "thick". She was nice enough, inexperienced, and not in the mood to flirt or even try to get a dance. Let's talk about the club.. Back in the day, entry was on the side by I-75. Now it is by the front lot (Northside Drive side). Upon walking in, the old VIP room to the right has been turned into the cover station. There is a curtain to keep prying eyes from seeing in. and then instead of the stage that was right there, there is a seating area. To the right, just past the bathrooms, where the alcove was is one of the bars. "Booths" line both walls back to the other bar, not quite back to where the DJ booth was. Apparently there are still a pair of VIP rooms in the back where they were before, but I didn't have the chance to check. Since they moved the DJ booth out front, there might be another VIP back there, too. But what struck me is the quality (lack of) in the renovations. Seriously... they should have just left well enough alone. It looked like the "Little Rascals" pieced it together from scraps. Poorly done, black painted plywood everywhere. Hell, it looks cheap and tacky even in the dark. If they were going for shit-hole dive bar, they nailed it. Previously it had been a little run-down and ready for a freshening... but this was so poorly done it looks like it needs a major overhaul to bring it up to third world. But heck... I remember when it still had the restaurant booths and no VIP rooms (stuff happened in those booths). This one will likely spend quite a while in the skip column...

Scores Atlanta
This is the fourth Scores branded club I have been to, and it’s not even close in quality to the other three (Columbus, Tampa, Jacksonville), but it might have some potential. It’s right next to the I-75 southbound entrance ramp, so if you are heading south on Northside Drive, it’s a bit tricky to get into because there is a highway divider and a lot of traffic heading for the ramp. Heading north it’s an easy turn into the parking lot. When I stopped by early in the afternoon, I was charged $5 to park in the mostly empty lot, but there was no cover at the door. Inside, the club is pretty small. It’s decent looking, but it’s not what I would call upscale. I was told that it had recently undergone a complete renovation, but I couldn’t tell. There was a small stage in the center of the room, which wasn’t used while I was there, and small bar to the right. Along the left wall was a row of cubbies. I was told that there were eight VIP rooms in the back, but did not explore that option this visit. I made my way to the bar and ordered a $5 beer from the cute bartender. I saw five dancers. A couple of more dancers came in as I sat at the bar, for a total of maybe 7 or 8 by the time I left about 90 minutes later, about 60/40 black to white split and about 5 to 7 on my rating scale. There were maybe a half dozen customers, including me, ranging from slightly thuggish looking to older white PLs. The girls seemed to be pretty friendly. Two of the dancers stayed tied up with a group of slightly thuggish looking guys at the other end of the back, and another two were hanging with one of the older PLs in a cubbies, but the ones who were not tied up made a point to stop by and try to strike up a conversation. I was told by a couple that the places was pretty slow during the day, as it was during my visit, but that it got pretty crowded and became and “urban” club at night. Eventually one that struck my fancy stopped by and I got a few dances at the standard $10 Atlanta price. The dances were mostly but not entirely air, what you generally get in Atlanta in most places. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to get out of traffic, chill for a bit, have a drink, and get a couple of dances, this place might fit the bill. If you looking for an intense strip club experience, this is probably not the place. It needs to up its game considerably to on par with the other clubs I have been to that carry the Scores name, but maybe it will as it is just getting going under the Scores name.
