Nicole’s Is Not a Strip Club.
Writing this review will be a bit of a challenge for a couple of reasons. For one thing, Nicole’s is not a strip club – nor a massage parlor, peep show, Vietnamese coffee bar, or anything else typically reviewed on TUSCL. In addition, there was only one girl working, so I don’t want to be too specific, but I will try to give you an idea of what to expect if you visit.
First off, the hours listed on TUSCL – “Mon-Thur 10 am-10pm, Fri-Sat 10 am-midnight” – are incorrect. I submitted a correction about 10 days ago, but so far the listing remains unchanged. The current, correct hours are:
Mon 10 am to 4 pm
Tue 10 am to 8 pm
Wed 10 am to 8 pm
Thu 10 am to 8 pm
Fri 10 am to 10 pm
Sat 10 am to 10 pm
Sun Closed
As you can see, these hours would be unusual for a strip club. Nicole’s is not a strip club.
Nicole’s is in a stand-alone, one-story building alongside the highway with a (free) gravel parking lot. I arrived at 4:00 on a weekday afternoon, and there was no cover. There’s an L-shaped bar as you enter with maybe a dozen stools; no alcohol is served. Bottled water was $1.50. At this time, there was a female bartender and one “dancer” on duty.
Nicole’s is not a strip club. There’s no stage, no pole, and nothing to watch except whatever’s on TV. Starting at 4:00, there *is* a communal room where dances can be done, but it is not private. To gain access to the lap dance room, you pay $5.00 to the bartender and go to the room with the dancer of your choice. Girls are not allowed to tell you what dances cost and will ask you to pay whatever you think is fair. The dances are very low mileage (all within the house rules), and tips of $5.00 per song are acceptable.
I did one of these VLM dances with the one woman on duty. She had a few miles on her, but with the right attitude, I thought we could have some fun. That said, I found it lacking – because of restrictive house rules. However, I got a good vibe from her and immediately opted for 30 minutes with her in a VIP room.
For that, you pay $70 to the bartender and head to one of the totally private VIP rooms. Unlike the lap dance room, the VIP rooms are available anytime Nicole’s is open. (I’m not sure, but I think there are two of them.) The room I was in was adequately furnished with a chaise lounge, a small table, and decent lighting. I have been in plenty of expensive VIP rooms in upscale clubs with much less space, less serviceable furniture, and shittier lighting, so no complaints here.
My companion got me settled and said she’d be back in a minute, telling me to “Get comfortable and leave your tip on the table.” (Like dances, the women who work here are not allowed to set any kind of price, so it’s up to you.) I put $80 on the table (other reviewers have said they’ve left varying amounts) and got comfortable. She was back in a minute, gratefully accepted the tip, started music on her phone, immediately got as comfortable as I was, and over the next 30 minutes surprised me by providing one of the best “Girl Friend Experiences” I have ever had. All I’ll say is that I could not have been more satisfied with our time together. Behind closed doors, other than not naming a price there are no house rules.
North Carolina strip clubs are notorious for low mileage and high prices. Nicole’s is not like that. Nicole’s is not a strip club.
