I guess I should appreciate the thought. But it gets annoying, when people see a old guy like me out for a walk on a hot day, that they assume I'm going to drop dead at any second. When I was young, air conditioning was for rich people. I know people not much older than me, who had to be out wading in flooded tobacco fields, on days with the temp in the 90s.

Outside in the shade with a bit of breeze was often preferable to a house with window box fans.
