Massage places by Taxi cabs from Strip clubs

Taxis in Las Vegas combined with adult entertainment in Las Vegas operate in a different world than most anywhere else. A taxi that takes you to the adult themed place will most likely get a bounty or spiff. That’s why the driver follows the fare into the club, to get his payment. It is usually around $50 but can be as high as $100 so it can make a cabbies night. This explains why often when you get in a cab and say “take me to a named strip club” the cabbie will often try and convince you it’s a bad club but he’ll recommend the hottest club. You can be sure that whatever he recommends is currently paying the highest bounty. That is also why the cover charge at the places you mentioned and a few others is so high in Las Vegas, essentially the club uses your high cover charge to pay the taxi his spiff for bringing you. It’s also why many clubs run their own “free” shuttle if you call them. The reason he might suggest taking you to a massage parlor is he thinks you are likely to have blue balls and you might bite on the suggestion. Be sure that if you do it will be one of the most expensive massages you ever get because you will be paying for him to get a high commission rate.

Have never done it but would avoid. I've heard they tend to be scams more often than not (huge promises made, huge money forked over, but with little to no return).

Stick with Uber or Lyft when coming back from Sapphire or Rhino. These cabbies pushing the massage places so annoyingly is what made me swear off taking cabs after leaving Vegas clubs.

I had just turned 21, hit Vegas with three friends. Grabbed a taxi to hit Cheetah's, and the driver convinced us to hit the Can-Can Room. If you've ever been to the Can-Can Room....well, you only go once. We were broke, and got clipped.

I did it a LOOONG time ago. It was an OK AMP massage and what I expected for the price I expected. The guy did not follow me in, but apparently had brought others here.

I think you gotta read the situation.

Or read the want ads in the LVRJ where they sometimes advertise “$80 a head bounty if you bring out-of-towners to xyz club” just show your taxi or uber license to the doorman!

Ain’t capitalism great!! Always an angle.

Uber/lyft to an address a block away is the best policy IMHO. Even take the bus.
