SpaceX going public created over $4,400 millionaires.
This includes one former employee that was a welder.
This is the American Dream for these people?
I hope they start spreading their wealth!

Aw f don't more SC competition
I think you couldnt really access their stock unless you were an employee or bought one of those shared funds
A lot of Home Depot employees working the floor did extremely well in the 1990s as HD grew-up. Those at SpaceX who had been buying through the employee stock purchase program have done really well.
Plus, STARLINK is currently the moneymaker for SpaceX. 2026 projections are $15B-$20B with over 10M users now with strong margins.
From what I've seen over the years, IPOs get a lot of hype then after the lock-up period, many sell and the price drops. TSLA and META/FB went through this.
Elon has talked of merging TSLA into SPCX. TSLA is about driverless cars (now), neuro-chips, Optimus robots and DOJO computing. His Colossus 1 DC w/H100/H200/H300 NVDA chips and 300MWs of power being rented to Anthropic/Claude are way more forward-thinking than any others - Anthropic pays $1.25B PER MONTH/$15B PER YEAR to monetize Colossus 1's excess capacity.
In my little world, I do see this as a long term investment as Elon is doing rocket stuff no one else can do for the foreseeable future like reusable rockets, catching rockets with "chopsticks" and seriously dropping the cost of sending stuff into space. Pre-SpaceX 1980s-2000s was around $16K to $55K per KG to low earth orbit (LEO.) Flacon 9 does it for like $3K/KG and Falcon Heavy under $2K/KG. Starship is targeting under $200/KG with goals to $10-$100/KG.
These cost numbers & heavy lift are amazing, and they blow away ANYTHING gov't could muster up.
So my point is, if you are an employee of SpaceX, sit on the stock for a very long term hold, and only sell if you absolutely need to. I'm not selling my SPCX (I just have a wee bit as a Day 1 buy, and will buy more if it does drop after lock-up expires) or TSLA.
SpaceX has corrected down. Who is buying?
