Thanks for all the advice in my prior thread. I am going to post reviews of Chicago and HK, but thought I would type about the logistics stuff here.
US Transportation
I parked behind the Jack in the Box on Saturday night which was $18 for four hours. Easy In - Easy Out. Other days I took a Lyft from downtown and it was between $20 and $30 not including tip. Cars were always available and I never waited more than 5 minutes.
Border Crossing
All of my trips into the US for the return were easy, never a line at between midnight and 2:00 am. I have Sentri but it saved me no time as the regular line was very short.
I was surprised how long it took me to get into Mexico Saturday night. I arrived at about 9:30 pm and it took about 30 minutes to clear the foreigner line as there were about 50 in line people and only two clerks. I do like that the print your FMM instead of hand writing it. Monday and Tuesday there was no wait.
Mexico Transportation
I took a cab to Chicago both Saturday and Tuesday. Once you exit the turnstiles I usually go up the hill to the right a little and past the guys yelling at you. I paid $10 both times. On Tuesday they were yelling $7, $7, but I still walked pas them and paid $10. I hadn't been there since they finished the new elevated expressway between the airport and the beaches, it is something to behold towering over the border.
On Monday the Zona shuttle was waiting half way down the hill so I took it. I was the only guy in the long stretch. As mentioned before, it is comical the 7 point turn the stretch has to make to get out of the alley onto the main road.
For the trips back I always took the HK or Chicago shuttle and paid $5 tip.
I stayed pretty close to the clubs but didn't feel unsafe at all. Felt like normal TJ to me, same as all my visits the past 15 years or so.
I will post reviews of HK and Chicago but will say here Chicago is still my favorite club although I found the talent at HK to be far better than my past visits.
