Former Shenanigans club manager charged with cocaine, meth distribution
COLONIE, N.Y. (WNYT)- A federal grand jury has indicted a former manager of Shenanigans Gentleman’s Club in Colonie.
Luiggi Canessa faces a five-count indictment, including four drug-related charges and one firearm possession charge related to drug trafficking.
He is accused of distributing cocaine and meth in the months before an FBI raid in April 2024, during which he was arrested.
Court documents obtained by NewsChannel 13 in 2024 said the FBI had been investigating reported drug and sex trafficking as well as wire fraud at the club since 2023.
A former dancer at Shenanigan’s said she was forced to drug, steal and have sex with customers under the direction of Canessa and owner Robert Savoca.
