The Cato Institute is very pro-globalization, so the source is not neutral. They indicate that immigrants with college degrees contribute the most to the economy by a huge margin.
The US has had its head up its ass regarding immigration since Reagan left The White House. With Trump, we're "fixing" it by sticking a grenade up our ass next to our head. We have to fix it for real. It fixes nothing to fuck over hard-luck people who are as good as most. Both red and blue politicians winked at their border jumping for many years. It helps no one, and hurts everyone, to kick out people who have built honest lives.
The problem with immigration is not Legal, it's Illegal Immigration, the 14thA with birthright citizenship for just being popped-out on American soil via illegal aliens and "Birthing Vaca." and Chain Migration.
Migrant workers can be fixed by proper legislation so we know who is here, what they are doing and have a way of tracking just like is done with American Citizens.
Dems and GOPers have look away for illegal workers to keep the money rolling in from companies that use illegals - that is a problem, a big problem. E-Verify is certainly not enforced.

Our country literally can't survive economically without immigrants. They are more likely to be employed than citizens and contribute a huge amount of taxes and pay in to social security even though they aren't eligible to receive it. Concerned with legality? Virtually every part of our government is completely corrupt. Trump is an obvious child rapist whose only concern is enriching himself and settling scores. Immigrants are mostly just here to work and live decent lives.

Fix the 14thA so it reflects today's requirements, and enforce E-Verify. And no, non-Citizens can't vote or be counted towards federal funding, Electoral College Electors or Federal seats. Guest workers are fine, and that is what they are, GUESTS that are tracked just like Citizens with valid GUEST ID.

@PAWG_Patrol In fairness to Dusty, and to all of those who do want to discuss political stuff, this site does have a Politics forum. Now, personally, I have a similar mindset to PP. I come here mainly to discuss clubs, and I can also enjoy other various topics such as music, movies, food, or whatever other random shit we can come up with to chat about... :) But while I'm not personally excited to discuss politics here, I at least appreciate when political stuff stays in the political forum! Not too long ago, it seemed like quite a few non-political threads were being constantly derailed by political posts and personal attacks, and that really wasn't making it easy for those who are trying to focus on club-related topics...
