These clubs with these crazy covers, $30, $40 to get in. Then lapdance over $50. And then they have the gall to even come down on you on those with too much touching You know I'm already here let's live it up, fuck it, I might try it once sure. But who's is rushing to come back? Do these clubs understand that. I mean how can anybody be regular at some of these clip joints, who's got that kind of money to blow.

And then these clubs close down or can't get enough girls because they can't sell any dances to customers who aren't even there anymore or ones that are dumb enough to actually buy these things. It's just so stupid I'm actually glad these places close. They had it coming for jut being so fucking short sighted.

It's like the girls who looks good, puts on a good barside warmup, but is a dud in the back. 1 and done.

Muddy: Which clubs/cities? 2 of my favored nude clubs have $30 night cover. In the last several months, I've seen more dancers at those clubs that charge $50 per dance, only get nude in VIP (15 minutes plus, $250 plus). I even encountered 1 dancer who only does VIP. It's not annoying enough to quit, but I've cut back the number of visits.

Name these clubs so we can give them bad Yelp reviews.

I've seen a number of clubs that were doing badly actually raise prices. Crazy. It would be one thing if they shared the bounty with the dancers, but usually the house gets the extra.

I think some Vegas clubs try to get away with this because the majority of their business comes from domestic/international tourists. $50+ admission then $40 dances.

At least for the locals and PLs in the know they have the free shuttle/no cover loophole I guess.

I met a dancer at Follies that lived in Tampa and danced at OZ in Clear Water where they charge $30 for 1 dance. She had family in Atlanta so whenever she came to visit she worked at Follies where the dances were only $10. She admitted that she made more money at Follies by selling more dances.

Bare Elegance LAX is charging $30 to walk in the door, as well as $58 for 1 dance. Absolute joke.

Gold club in Baltimore increased the price from $30 to $40 per dance. These are not topless and no touch dances.

Few girls charge 3 for $100 at Delilahs where actual price is $20 per dance. These are topless dances and allow touching with exception of couple dancers

Was thinking of making my own post for this but this one should do.

The DMV is awful. $40 for lap dance is the norm most places already. But some of them make you pay an initial $20 to go back to the VIP area. I already paid a $20 or $30 cover to get in the place. Now you want more to walk into a different area? 2 songs + covers is $120+ and if you come back into the VIP area with a different girl? Another $20 entry...

I typically never mess with single dances anyways and opt for the timed rooms. But even those are going up. One club has raised theirs twice since I've been in 3 months! $240 for 30 min room and that is just the house fee.

I honestly don't know how dancers are dealing with this. The clubs are less and less busy and the house is taking even more money. I've suggested OTC to a few regulars. Here's 500/1000 for you and only you, for an hour or 2 of time. No takers yet. Instead, they are lucky to get $10 in stage tips and maybe sell 1 or 2 rooms for $200 a pop

... and that's before they tip other staff/the house out.

Have seen a lot of this growing sentiment lately. The money doesn't go far enough to justify mediocre service. It's not a disposable income issue, though lot's of dancers online will jump to call you broke for bringing prices up at all.

I still want to go at times but the thought of spending as much as a weekend getaway or 1 night at an all inclusive really puts it into perspective for me.

Another aside... I would never pay for porn or only fans but I can see why the younger guys do. $10 a month to see the hottest chick's and chat online is a deal compared to $500 for 30 mins of fun. I know physical touch and all that, but still

It's an interesting post. However, you're going to get the guys who don't read here, have more $$$$ to spend, entertain clients (like in LV) that don't care and can write it off. Those are the ones that make it tough for us guys who look for the $20 LD range and a reasonable cover charge...

Clubs with the crazy covers to get in may trying to screen their customers to keep the undesirables out.

From a business perspective, these would include young customers who don't have money for anything other than getting drunk and possibly causing fights, customers who buy one drink and monopolize the dancers with their bullshit, customers who are not interested in the dancers and come in just for "happy hour" and to bullshit with the barback / bartender, etc.

The thinking is the crazy cover will more than offset any lost revenue and the dancers will benefit because they will have a customer base which has money to spend on dances.

2 months ago a monthly poker game I have played in for 22 years took a vote and voted to permit "wild cards". I looked at it the same way I do a $40 cover or $40 lap dance: have fun, without me. Locally that is why Fantasies is off the list forever and the cadillac remains never on the list. I have more fun things to do than both of the above for cheaper. Example: It snowed 2 feet last week, sunday into Monday. Monday I was up at 4, drove to Vermont and skied Stratton on my pass. $35 for gas, brought food and drink from home and since I bought may pass last April ($840 - I will ski 25-30 time) skiing seemed free. Soon strip clubs will be added to steakhouses, slope side lodging, waterfront hotels and heli-skiing s things that cost too much to be worth anywhere near the cost.
