Do you use Instagram to follow dancers and clubs? I follow most of the clubs in the Atlanta area and quite a few of the dancers.
I don't ever go to some cubs because I don't like what I see on their IG photos. Fat asses twerking and $1 bills all over the floor and announcing the great DJs.
Photos of their food does not impress me. I don't go there to eat.
I like seeing good looking dancers. Especially without tats or piercings. They do influence me to go there.
I also like watching dancers that I know. Not stalking but I do find their lives interesting. Who has kids?. How many? Who is pregnant ? Married or engaged? Too bad they can't share nude photos.

Yeah, I do much the same. IG and Facebook both.
I only ever post on FB. I look at IG to see posts from those who do post on IG. I send unimportant DMs to the fav I've been seeing exclusively on IG. I stick with SMS for the more important ones. I'm under strict orders from my fav to like all her posts on IG, and also comment, even if only with a string of emojis.
I loved it how The Hideout in Tuscola, Illinois would post the list of scheduled dancers on their FB page. Can't fathom it why they're the exception rather than the norm in doing so.
Dancer pics on a club page are cool. But I'd boycott a club that wasn't careful to keep pics of a dancer off their pages, unless they were sure she had given permission for their use.
I create a throwaway account to follow dancers in my area and the places I go. I also get the girls IG as well the ones I want to keep on contact with. It’s better than getting phone numbers. I don’t recommend using personal Facebook or IG, create a throwaway account to do your ahem risky business. And use a seaperqte email for log in not personal email. You have no idea how many times I read comments on Facebook and IG where these guys are basically posting comments on random girls. Cmon atleast make your account private.
Shadow - which clubs do you follow in the ATL area?
I used to follow some dancers, I found the sluttier they were on Insta usually correlated to how their VIP sessions would go.
The only reason I have an instagram account!
@billy83z Spot on! There are a lot of Useful Idiots that walk amongst us.
I like IG stories for scoping out SCs in a new area, but I find the majority of dancers don't want to be on camera. So it ends up not really being representative of who's actually there. More often than not it's mostly bartenders willing to show their faces on a club's social media.
As for using it to see how many kids a dancer has or whether she's married... that sounds creepy as hell man 🤣

It would only be creepy if you tried to find out personal info they didn't want you to know. Maybe it's a boomer thing. A big part of why Playboy got to be big was that the model bios were not totally made up. Strippers tend to be more relaxed with you if you have a normal interest in who they are. It goes hand in hand with thinking they deserve as much courtesy as anybody else.

Man, I don't even know what the fuck Instagram is, except that when you characters put links on here, I can only see them about 50% of the time. I have a Linked In profile with my resume. Last time I looked at it was when I changed jobs almost 3 years ago. I've never "posted" anything on it.
Some of the ATL clubs have closed and reopened, and some have more than one IG page. Sometimes they run promotions or celebrate a dancer's birthday. If there's going to be a famous rapper, that may be a good night to stay away. There's also:

I'm sure dancers have multiple IG accounts just like PL's and clubs do. Their private lives are separate from their professional identities. The dancers accounts I've seen are mostly a promotional tool.
No Snapchat; No Instagram; No facebook; No sign outside my office; no website; follow a total of zero people and places. No plans to go clubbing. No plans not to go clubbing. If I go and it sucks, I think of Scarlett O'Hara and know that tomorrow is another day.
I follow 20+ strippers or former strippers. A means to keep in touch. I've migrated to a few of their Only Fans but typically for 1 month only. I find they don't treat it like a job (imagine that).
Also follow 5-10 door girls, bartenders and servers. Those are all long time staff that I chat with in the Club.
5-10 clubs. It can be helpful to know about upcoming events, most of which I try to avoid.
