Thinking about a first TJ Hong Kong trip somewhere around the third week of January. I’m a 63 retired from PHX. I’ll likely drive over.
Anyone want to meet up on the US side of the border and head over to Hong Kong?

Jascoi, that would be great, I’ll buy a night of drinks.
Who else is in? There’s got to be more than just me, let’s take the first dip into Tijuana! I’m a retired professional and great conversationalist, just inexperienced in travel to Mexico. This is an opportunity for several of us to learn the ropes. Join in!
I go occasionally from PHX also. Sometimes fly into San Diego and take the trolley down but much prefer just flying into TJ direct on American and taking an Uber to HK. The big benefit for me flying direct is American has a mid day flight back and I don’t have get up early to beat the crowd at the PED crossing. In general IIt just seem easier and faster. I need to get my Global Entry/Sentri.
I'm thinking about going down to TJ on Monday, January 12th. As usual, I'm reading the travel warnings - but I've never had any issues during my visits. I plan on staying at Cascadas for two nights.
Honesty visiting the zona Norte clubs barely feels like visiting Mexico. Just cross the border, hail a cab or look for the Hong Kong shuttle. Take a 5 minute ride to zona Norte and just check in at Cascadas and Hong Kong is right next door. The whole process is very easy and refined. The Tijuana beginner articles are a great guide tuscl.net
There’s a chance I might go down to TJ on a Monday afternoon about the middle of January.
