If coke were legal and regulated, like alcohol, it might be less expensive. She might not have needed to do sex work she wasn't OK with, in order to buy coke.
I can't help but see some similarity with my Cuban fav. She has the equivalent of a US Associates Degree. But, because of limited English, she has less options than someone with an 8th grade education but decent English. She eventually switched from the extras club where I met her to a low-contact, low-extras club. But she continues to see me and a few others OTC that she met in the extras club. I don't think she has any drug/alcohol dependency. But the grinding poverty she lived through in Cuba makes her very motivated, maybe compulsive, about making every dollar she can. I hope she doesn't end up feeling like I took advantage of her. She complained about customers at the extras club treating her like an object, not directly about doing extras.
Ooh, I first saw her on Wear Whatever the F You Want (kinda a reboot of a clothing makeover tv show) and also read the book she wrote. She definitely had some holes to crawl through. But she worked before at Sugar 44 in Phoenix and before that the old Olympic Garden in Vegas that I’ve seen tusclers post about. I wonder whether somebody on this site has met her before.
