Curious if anyone here has Onlyfans account and got a message about new verification procedures. I’m pretty sure it’s legit just not sure if I want to download ID info. I only subscribe to a few dancers I’ve met over the years and can’t decide if I want to continue. I use a reloadable credit card so that risk is minimal. Any opinions appreciated

I wouldn't download any ID information. Any verification procedures, assuming they're legit, do nothing for you and can be used against you. And if it's not legit or if the legit data gets hacked, it will be used against you. Using a reloadable credit card is smart. If you have other ways of contacting the dancers you've met and now follow, explain to them what's happening and get their feedback. I would begin looking for another outlet, too.

Unless they've changed things, you should only have to upload your ID and do verification on OF if you are a creator posting content. If you're just consuming, all you need is a form of payment.

I have had an account for years. I will sub for a month when I really want to see some content, or in this context, a preview of a stripper I might want to go visit.
Things were great until recently I happened to be connected to my VPN and hit their page, and verification hell broke loose. The third party they use is AWFUL and I tried to resolve it normally, tried their verification process. OF customer service is shit.
I ended up creating a new account under an alternate gmail account. Lesson here: Don't be like me and connect from a VPN endpoint that is in a different region than you normally are.

@Flash4, I always connect via VPN, and I never use the region I'm in (depending on what you mean by "region"). I've never had a problem. What VPN ate you using? And what region do you connect in?

Probably depends on where you are. Several states have passed new laws regarding verification requirements and adult content sites.
