Love this place. I dont have a lot of experience with other providence clubs. When Im going through town I always stop at this one and have a great experience, so never think of anyplace else. My typical move is to grab my favorite gal and go into the VIP booths downstairs, which is a lot of fun. What is the story with the VIP lounge upstairs? Bigger VIP booths? Dinner, pool table? I never understood the membership/credits etc. Downstairs seems to be the stage/music, etc, where the action is. Why go upstairs?

@PapaBear what happens if you renew after it expires? What exactly is the benefit to renewing before it expires since you get $240 food credits regardless?

If you don't renew it before it expires, and you skip a quarter, you have to pay the $300 again, but you only get back a $240 food credit instead of a $300 one, and there aer some weird rules.
The current quarter is July 1 - Sep 30. If you join for the first time today, Sep 28, it still expires in 2 days so you'd have to spend all $240 in 2 days, which would be really tough since Lust is closed on Sunday thru Tuesday.
If you join for Oct 1 thru Dec 30 for $300, you get a $240 food and beverage credit. If you renew for the Jan-March quarter, you get the full $300 credit instead of just $240. That's the benefit to renewing.
However, you don't actually have to renew by Dec 30. If you come in on February 20th, you can renew for $300, get the full $300 credit, and it's good til March 30th.
I renewed last Thursday and I'm good till the end of the year. If you renew before it expires, you get the whole $300 if you skip a quarter, it goes back to $240. If you add during the quarter you get125% of what you add
Lust membership means cover is always waived, right?

I apologize if these questions have been answered before, but I have some follow-up questions:
- Does being a member also waive the Desire cover on days Lust is not open?
- Does being a member also waive the "one-drink minimum" rule at Desire when there is no cover?
- Can you use your credit to tip the server when ordering food/drinks? or do you have to do that separately?

true, you'd never pay a cover, and I think they allow you to bring one other person, although I'm not positive

No, and that sucks, and I've told them tha tmultiple times, partially because I forget. You put $100 on your Lust tab, give them your name or number, and you have to remember to tip them in cash. I told them there should be a way to just have it automatically tip 20%, so that if I forget they get at least that. Otherwise, because they're only open Wednesday to Saturday, it may be weeks before you see the same server, so I have to make a note on my todo list.
Also, they should be open on Sundays instead of Wednesdays so I could go there to watch NFL games, and NBA or MLB in other seasons.

Upstairs they have a smoking area with a pool table. They also have a full bar with a food menu. The VIP rooms on the third floor are bigger than the ones downstairs and they have a big flatscreen television.
Membership is $300 per quarter and as someone who has done it in the past, it is worth if it you are visiting at least once a month. The members who continue to do it enjoy it because they can bring their girl upstairs and spend some time together in a much quieter atmosphere. The $300 gets you a food and beverage credit of I believe $240 and if you keep renewing before it expires every subsequent $300 quarterly payment comes back to you in food and beverage credit. Credit can only be used upstairs.
