Around 1970 I spent 2 weeks at the Roosevelt hotel downtown Seattle while taking a course at Boeing Field. I know why they call it swamp town. It rains all of the time!
Closest I've gotten is Portland. It never rained hard, just drizzled a lot. People there deny that drizzle counts as rain.
