I have a few days to kill in the middle of an upcoming work trip to NC. Debating between spending a few nights in Charlotte or Greensboro? I prefer dive bars to fancy places and extras are always welcome.
Question: Charlotte or Greensboro? Any great clubs in either city I need to try?
Or am I better off making the drive to Atlanta?
You don’t really mention day or night. Atlanta is the best choice by far, but it is 4 to 4 1/2 hours in heavy truck traffic. Only sure extras in NC are in Greensboro and that is at one club. It is a good club. Charlotte has some dive bars which are called strip clubs, no sure extras but can get frisky/handsy action. I like the Gold, Gentlemen’s, and Men’s club area. There are some dancers willing to do OTC but not all.

I prefer Greensboro, Treasures and Mirage are ok. Really none of those three cities have great clubs, with the possible exception of the reincarnated Follies.
