Did you know that Neil Sedaka was one of the original members of the band The Tolkiens that formed out of Lincoln High School in Brooklyn N. Y.

This proof that men age better than women. Here is Jay Siegel from the 60’s

Why can’t women look better when they get older as some men do?

He’s the exception. Most old singers lose their chops, but make up for it with more feeling.
Years of belting out songs on stage takes its toll.

This is what a great vocal performance from a man in his prime looks like. I’m not sure how he sounds today. This song was kind of my theme song back in the day:

It is amazing just how well old men can sing. (but I'm sure it takes some practice.)

This is probably not as much of a test on aging vocal cords like some other examples on this thread, but when B-52 performed a month ago I thought their performance was great.

I love oldies. Even if they aren't as good back in the day, what the fuck do I care? Live music usually rocks.

^It was weird seeing Tommy James last year, since I first heard of him when I was in the 7th grade. Still sounds good.

Old people can always sing oldies, but I was personally very impressed with Johnny Cash's covers of "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode and "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails.

I saw Judas Priest last summer. At 73 Rob Halford sounds just as good as he ever did.
