Stupid Dancers and Celebrities

I'd live this way again
I was in a club where a popular rapper made a surprise day appearance for a dancers birthday. The entitlement of the dancers was hilarious and watching them play themselves out of position was even funnier. They moaned about how cheap he was when all they approached his section for was a picture, dumbly played the spenders to the left to clout chase after the man and generally didn’t treat him like a customer. If you want him to act like a normal PL, treat him like one. I’m not famous but it’s got to be annoying to be expected to burn money up because you had a hit song.

Sleepy Rose. I’d Never heard of him I guess he with 2 Chainz. He looked annoyed. Imagine a woman putting you on her livestream without asking then acting like she should be paid.

Ooh those poor rapper guys, who very often get some sort of compensation from the club just for showing up—then refuse to make it rain dollas when their known songs often has lyrics about making it rain. Don’t these dumb hoes know that they should be trying to kiss his ass in the hopes of becoming side chick #5?

And that’s probably the type of club that expects dancers to be actively promoting on social media too

I’m not telling dancer to do anything it’s not my life or job. I’m just saying don’t expect anything if your going to treat a celeb differently than you’d treat me. Yeah he didn’t spend like I spent but he wasn’t treated the way that I was: like a customer.

But they aren’t just regular ol customers who spent their own money on the cover charge and drink. They are, unlike the dancers, getting paid to show up. They could throw at least a portion of the earnings if they wanted to be a team player and hype up the room.

If the club owners feel that’s a good use of their expenses, then that’s one thing. But if the dancers feel differently, then I don’t blame them one bit.

Nobody should be expected to spend more money just because they are a celebrity/rich.

Too many people these days with their hands in other peoples' pockets.

There was a recent story about Taylor Swift "only" donating $100k to somone. Backlash was created because she has a lot of money, and should have given more, even though she had no obligation to contribute anything.

It's comical that the girls expected to be paid merely for gracing the rapper with their presence. Really, perhaps they should have been paying HIM to be in his section. This isn't some PL who sees value in paying for the company of an attractive woman. Also, even if they gave him lap dances, why should he pay more for a LD than any other guy, barring any special activities. And, I doubt he needs to pay for what he wants.

Sorry, but this thread seems like going to a French restaurant and complaining about lack of enchiladas on the menu. People who are into that conception of stripping don't hang on this website. TUSCL is oriented to PLs who minimally are seeking a high contact lap dances. Which has very little in common with the dolla throw scene.

From the little I've seen of it, to be a dolla throw whale, you throw hundreds or thousands of singles, while talking to your entourage, and barely looking at the dancers. The dancers seem kinda like chorus girls in a production number of some olden day major musical. So, maybe it's understandable the dancers were disappointed/frustrated. To our mindset, it may seem like they're expecting to be paid to be groupies. But, I think they see themselves as having a supporting role in the rapper's act. Which makes sense to me.
