Truck crashes into Kalamazoo strip club.

Why would a man intentionally crash his truck into a strip club? Which of the following is the most likely theory? Hopefully, the authorities will discover and report on the motive.

A: Religious fanatic trying to save the dancers from a life of sin? B: Jilted boyfriend of one of the dancers. C: Customer who was overcharged or otherwise disrespected by one of the club employees D: Customer who was mistakenly informed that the strip club had drive through service E: None of the above, your theory??

The article says the driver was from Iron Mountain - that’s in the Upper Peninsula 8 hours from Kalamazoo. Long Drive.

It does seem pretty bizarre there were two incidents the same day.

I have no basis for my thoughts - but an additional one for electronman’s list.

It could be a customer who caught feelings for a dancer.

There was a similar incident at a Detroit club earlier in the week (see Discussion for Tycoon's below). That suspect was not apprehended. It might be the same person who crashed in to the Kalamazoo club.

It has to be B or C. Religious fanatic seems unlikely. It could be someone who caught feelings for a dancer and didnt want her dancing anymore or at the club. It could be her current or former husband/boyfriend. It could be someone angry at the club for feeling scammed or ripped off.

The guy forgot to wear his coke-bottle glasses. He desperately needed to get close to stageside to see anything anyway.

Electro man why was he not apprehended?

According to the Detroit news story, the suspect pointed the car at Tycoons and secured the accelerator. He did this more than once because he didn't get enough speed and do any damage in the first attempt. As a result, he was not actually driving and he is still at large.

In contrast, the suspect in the Kalamazoo intentional crash was inside the vehicle when the car crashed through the wall of the strip club. He was apprehended by the police.

He didn't want to pay the valet.

He loved his truck and insisted on getting an ITC lap-dance in it - can't blame a guy for wanting to combine his two-loves

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The man accused of driving his pickup truck into a Kalamazoo strip club confessed to investigators that he intentionally drove his truck into the strip club because he was upset at how one of the dancers were being treated, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) police documents.
