What was especial interesting to me (towards the end) is when he talks about an experiment, that indicated that straight women show signs of being aroused by things that they don't consider to be arousing. Which may explain those odd situations where a nude lap dancer will leave a big wet spot. You'd think she'd be like, hey, I've found the perfect sugar daddy, can give me money AND get me off. But the song/timer runs out and she's like where's my tip bye fuck off go dry your pants. When I was in my twenties, a street walker came up and grabbed me and threw her leg around my back, getting me seriously shprung. But I felt confused, cause she was fortyish frumpy, so I politely shooed her off. Now that I'm sixtyish and beyond frumpy, maybe I sometimes put strippers in the same spot?
But we may want to take this guy with a grain of salt, I think there's now a lot of evidence against that whole upsuck theory.

This kind of “popular media” in YouTube and podcasts, projects "a distorted portrayal of current theory and evidence on evolved human sexuality" to the general public.
They, Suzy and Ryan are just “peddling” his book, he is annoying, a pseudo author "snake oil salesman"; Sex at Dawn is a book that has been mistaken as scientifically valid by a large numbers of naïve readers … when in reality, it is undeniable an intellectually myopic, ideologically driven, pseudo-scientific fraud.

Dr. Ruth explains that women's sexual fears and their sexual fantasies are the same. It's just that the fantasies are loaded with indicators of elevated socio-economic status, where as the fear version is without these. What frightens them about the fear version is that they are being sexually arounsed and they are going along with it, and this prospect terrifies them and so waking up night after night in terror and sweat. It is their own potential for sexual arousal without the indicators of elevated socio-economic status which terrifies them.

I’ve heard about this so called female arousal. I’d like to see it in action! Maybe like one of those National Geographic specials where they have cameras to capture the female species in a setting she finds arousing!
I wasn’t thinking of a bedroom - but possibly a Tiffany’s or Cartier store? Maybe one of those Jimmy Choo or Balenciaga stores…
