JACKSON, Miss. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a Jackson strip club.
A 28-year-old man was shot and killed about 4:20 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of South West Street, according to Public Information Officer Sam Brown. Investigators were seen outside Aces Gentlemens Club, where shell casings were on the ground.
Brown said a security guard shot the suspected shooter, Charlie Thomas, who is hospitalized in critical condition.
The name of the man who was killed has not been released.
Jackson police have not said what led to the shooting.
