Looks like Detroit Proper might be cracking down on SC

LEGENDS ADHERES TO ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS PROMULGATED BY THE STATE OF MICHIGAN. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND OCCUPANCY HAS BEEN REDUCED AS REQUIRED UNDER THE STATE GUIDELINES. THE DETROIT FIRE MARSHAL WILL STRICTLY ENFORCE THESE GUIDELINES AND OPERATORS WHO ARE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION WILL BE TICKETED AND SUBJECT TO THE SUSPENSION OF THEIR LICENSE.

Good. Smoking in bars and restaurants was outlawed years ago in Michigan. But smoking has continued in the strip clubs, and the managers won't do anything if you complain. It's hard to believe but Detroit strip clubs don't always follow the law.

As a non-smoker, I don't like being forced to smoke with the smokers in the club and leave the club smelling like an ashtray with legs - if you don't care about fucking up your lungs and health then do it in the privacy of your house and do it to your own family, don't do it to me.

I concur; give them a place to smoke like Criket; for that matter never understood the Casino exemption either.

@Papi - that's the one thing I hate when I go to the SC when I'm on vacation in Florida. I'm so used to everything being non-smoking living in Massachusetts that when I'm exposed to it, not only do I hate it to begin with, but I'm totally unused to it as well.

I'm conflicted on this. I absolutely believe the smoking ban should be enforced in strip clubs the way it is in other businesses. But on the otherhand, if they are going to start enforcing this law now I'm worried that the Detroit clubs will start enforcing other laws and eliminating the fun.

I absolutely don’t like smoking. BUT I do have a high tolerance for smokers because of the fact that I was subjected to them for literally 40 years in my particular occupation. (union truck drivers.)

The Criket and Flight Club have both allowed smoking in certain areas and managed to keep the main floor smoke free (I haven't been to Flight Club in a bit so I don't know if that is still true). Bogart's is like a smelly bar from the 70s where the smoke hangs over everyone all the time. To be honest, I'm more interested in when the blow job rooms at the Criket will open back up.

^^^Exactly. A good actor getting fucked with because douchbags can't stand others tastes. Seriously "Be careful what you ask for". Cricket went above and beyond to cater to smokers while keeping the non-smokers unaffected.
