Who benefits from the organized violence of war?
War is enormously profitable for US “defense” industries. These industries shape US governance and foreign policy.
Business profits in our system are in most cases result of collusion, history shows that big business and big government can collude to keep profits flowing to the former and contributions flowing to the latter.
Without designated “bad guys,” corporate war profiteering would disappear.
