Murder at Atlanta strip club.

ATLANTA | Atlanta police say a woman fatally shot her partner outside a strip club.

News outlets report 35-year-old Candace Morgan was charged with murder early Sunday and accused of killing 43-year-old Therese Bradley Horton.

Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Chafee says the two women were sitting inside a car outside of the Magic City nightclub when they started arguing.

Chafee says Morgan pulled out a gun and shot Horton in the car. Horton got out and tried to run away but Morgan followed her and shot her again. Horton was dead at the scene. Security guards held Morgan until police arrived.

The investigation is ongoing. It is unclear whether Morgan has an attorney.
