I will travel to Atlanta in a few weeks. Are there any inexpensive places to stay within walking distance from Follies?

None within walking distance.
Airbnb options for some random dates three weeks from now, and with the “entire place to self” setting.
Seems walkable enough (1.5 miles?), though you will get your exercise in.
Take uber. Nice hotels are a short ride away
Quality Inn N.E. is really nice $70 and is 2miles away. Plenty of taxis there. There's another motel cheaper also 2mi near by. You've to go thru the freeway. I took my fav hot strippers there for otc many times. But now TJHK makes it look like childplay.
I travel to Atlanta for business, stop by Follies occasionally, and do stay nearby, since they do have a 2 drink minimum. I prefer the Hampton Inn at North Druid Hills Road. There are 2 or 3 other decent hotels right in the area of Buford Highway and North Druid Hills Road. It is about 3 or 4 miles to Follies. I think there is also a Marriott right off 85 that is no more than 2 or 3 miles to Follies. The price changes significantly due to week, etc at these hotels and the extras, taxes added on are high, I think closer to 20% than 10%. I have not tried the more budget type of hotel, although there is a Red Roof Inn across the street from the Hampton Inn.
@RTP, and here I thought the extras at Follies were some of the lowest in the country...

Yes, it checks out, just drive SW on 13 /23 and exit onto Clairmont, very close to motel, about 1 mile.
