Yesterday at my favorite club a dancer that I know well but would not consider to be a favorite tells me that she got a text message from a favorite of mine asking her to get my phone number. The favorite is currently out of town visiting family. I in fact got a text message from her the day before telling me that she will be back as soon as her grand mother gets out of the hospital. Maybe in a week.
So I tell the dancer about my text message and question why she would ask her to get my number. She didn't have an answer to that. Could she have just been trying to get my number for herself?
Then she says that when my favorite gets back in town, we should have a 3 some and I should make them both pregnant. WTF?

As soon as a stripper mentions wanting to get pregnant I'm done even talking to her let alone getting dances from her.

25,
I think you better touch base with Milton-Bradley.
"Pin The Baby On The PL" might be a big hit in the SC world.

I personally have two friends who I am close to, but at some points I like to keep my distance from them. Both, at some period in their lives, had decided to get pregnant on purpose. My guess at their motivations were that they felt their lives were empty and a child would make it better.
Both of them tried on purpose, but backtracked and claimed it was an accident later on. No doubt because it was me they were speaking with. (I’m not very judgmental on a lot of things others would consider “disturbing”...But creating a child on purpose, who is guaranteed to have unstable life circumstance, is the exception that triggers me)
It may be harsh to say, but I considered it a good thing that both of them had miscarriages when they tried.
I don’t think these two friends are unique in that way either. In different socioeconomic classes, desire for children and mental illnesses go hand in hand.

I’m going to clarify my statement of “desire for children and mental illnesses go hand in hand.”
I guess desire for children is normal no matter what. But the mentally ill don’t care about things like whether the father has a means of providing. Or don’t care about giving up drugs/partying. Or other decisions that parents would.

I've always thought that a prevailing attitude of the less fortunate socioeconomic lasses was something like "I may not have money, but I can have kids just like anyone else."

An older dancer I knew had 3 children but had her first at 15 - she said she'd had a tough upbringing and at the time just wanted something to love her

Run Forrest, run Forrest.
Block her number, never visit that club again.
There are myriads of dancers who just want your swimmers for money, sprint away when they want it to make a kid.
