So last night I finally had some free time and I sat down and watched the Bernie Madoff movie starring Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfieffer.
Decent movie but if you listen to this excellent audible “book” it appears the movie left several details out. The movie showed how he got into trouble, the audio book explained in more detail how he pulled it off for so many years.

Ha! I remember reading an article how this guy worked an office below Bernie’s straight out of college. He begged Bernie to let him invest some money. Bernie did, guy cashed out several years later for a couple of million. Went and retired in NC in his mid 30s and was able to live off the interest. Until the feds showed up and took everything.
