Check out this article from USA TODAY:
An offensive tweet from Donte DiVincenzo's account in 2011 surfaces
WTF, dude is the MVP of the NCAA Championship game coming off the bench and all the media can talk about is an offensive tweet from his twitter account from when he was 14 years old. The tweet in question is him posting lyrics from a Meek Mill song (Meek is a report for all you old farts) that uses the “n” word.
Is it just me or is political correctness gone way too far? Yes he shouldn’t have posted that, any sane and somewhat mature young adult that is Caucasian would probably regret posting that tweet, but he was just a kid. Let the kid enjoy his championship, it’s like the media rushed to find dirt on him last night and this is the best they could find.

last commentKey fact. He was 14 years old. Jeez. How many kids now post lyrics of gangsta rap crap with things a lot more offensive than that.

Yeah the PC crowd wants tolerance but only if they can define tolerance and your version of tolerance matches up with their version of tolerance.

I coach AAU basketball and I tell my high school players to watch what u put on twitter. You never know if what you put will come back in bite you on the ass.
Its unfortunate because hes a good player. But this will pass. Based on his performance he earned himself a paycheck.
