Life Sentence for 2AMer

A 31-year-old Arlington man was sentenced to life in prison Monday for a December 2014 murder outside a Fort Worth strip club.

Patrick Lee Smith was found guilty of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with shooting John Williams Jr., 28, outside Stiletto's, 3929 Farm Road 157.

He was sentenced to life, 99 years and 18 years in prison, respectively. The sentences will be served concurrently.

Smith shot Williams shortly after 2 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2014.
