A 41-year-old man died Sunday after a shooting at LipZtick — a strip club near Donna. At 3:21 a.m. Sunday, the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office dispatched deputies to LipZtick, a strip club located near the intersection of Border Road and Sioux Road, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office.
"Upon arrival, sheriff’s deputies met with the owner who reported hearing a gunshot and found that a male subject 'Guerro' sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital," according to the news release. Deputies identified "Guerro" as 41-year-old Angel Sanchez. He died at the hospital. The Sheriff's Office took statements from 15 witnesses and reviewed security cameras at the strip club. After conducting interviews with witnesses, the Sheriff's Office identified 41-year-old Miguel Uvalle as a person of interest. "Uvalle is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached," according to the news release. Investigators ask anyone with information about the crime to call Hidalgo County Crime Stoppers at (956) 668-8477.
