CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cleveland woman was shot through the side Tuesday during a scuffle with her boyfriend that followed their outing to a downtown strip club, police say
Police arrested the 32-year-old man after he took the woman to University Hospitals for treatment, but no charges have been filed in connection with the shooting, according to police and court records.
The incident happened about 3:15 a.m. after the couple returned to the woman's home from Magic City strip club in downtown Cleveland and argued about the man talking to other women, according to a Cleveland police report.
The man packed up his belongings to go home, but his girlfriend didn't want him to leave, the report says.
The man's right wrist was broken and in a sling, so he reached for the gun with his non-dominant hand and grabbed it with his finger on the trigger, the report says.
The woman said the gun went off when she reached for it at the same time, the report says.
The man told police that the shooting was accidental. He has a concealed carry permit and cooperated with investigators, the report says.
Medical staff determined that the bullet entered and exited the woman's side, but no vital organs were hit, the report says.

The purest meaning of having a weapon under disability. :D
CCW or not he was probably drinking and possessing a firearm while under any influence will probably get him charged and he'll loose his CCW.
