A 19-year-old man is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend accidentally while he was fighting with a man at a strip club in Far East Dallas, police said.
Officers found Natalie Tavares, 18, next to a vehicle with a gunshot wound about 3:50 a.m. at the Tiger Cabaret Club on Interstate 30 near Buckner Bouelvard. Witnesses told police Aldo Saucedo, 19, had been fighting with another man inside the club. He left and pulled his vehicle to the front of the club, where the two men confronted each other again and Saucedo grabbed a gun from his vehicle.
He shot at the man but fatally struck Tavares, police said.
She was taken to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, where she was pronounced dead. Another woman who suffered a wound that was not believed to be life-threatening also was hospitalized. Saucedo faces charges of murder and aggravated assault.
