A 29-year-old man is being sought in connection with a shooting at a strip club early Sunday that left another man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Tony Thongdeng of St. Petersburg is wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
About 2:14 a.m. Sunday, Tyler McNett, 25, got into an argument and then was shot outside 4 Play Gentlemen's Lounge, 10387 Gandy Blvd., in unincorporated St. Petersburg.
He was shot in the chest and left leg, and was then driven by a friend to a WaWa nearby. He was treated on scene and transported to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.
Pinellas County detectives say that video surveillance showed the altercation at the club and the suspect, Thongdeng, with a black revolver pointed at the victim.
Thongdeng also has a warrant for violation of career offender registration. He is described as Asian, about 5-foot-7, about 175 pounds with has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
