I've never danced before and I wanted to try it! I live in ATL right now and I was wondering what I needed to work at club wax? Like do they prefer a certain type of look? Do I have to be flexible? Etc

Jump to latestClub Wax is the only bikini club in Atlanta. By being bikini the dancers avoid having to get a $300 license and pass a back ground check. It is a black club in a rough area and I won't go back. Right now Follies is the only other club that I know of where a license is not required. It is mixed club during the day but turns black after 8PM.
If you are a white-chick you won’t fit-in unless you’re thick w/ a big booty.
This is a customer-based website so most of us are not exactly familiar with the hiring practices in clubs.
As shadowcat mentioned this club does not require a license so I would assume it’s not that hard to dance there – just go in looking good and sexy and if you’ve never danced b/f perhaps you may want to try the dayshift so you can get your feet wet although AFAIK it can often be slow on dayshift in terms of making $$$.
This club has a rep for girls doing extras in VIP but not all girls do – but for girls not doing extras they better give some good dances if not custies are not gonna bother.
If you are new to the game; you may want to check-out StripperWeb.com which is a site for dancers and it may be of more help to you.
“… do they prefer a certain type of look … Do I have to be flexible …”
w.r.t. a certain type of look – guys’/custies’ preferences are all over the place – some prefer dancers slim and fit; some prefer them thick and curvy – in many black clubs often times the thick voluptuous girls get more attention but like I said custies have different tastes.
You should visit the club w/ a friend so you can get a feel for the vibe.
And what do you mean by flexible? Do you mean physically flexible or a flexible attitude?
Some black clubs are fairly big on stage-dancing and pole-tricks; but for the most part strip-clubs are about getting dances and a dancer does not have to be a pole-master – in some of the ATL no-touch clubs (Onyx; Blue Flame; etc); stage-dancing and pole-tricks may be more important.

Just be sure to shave your legs before you go to audition.
If you're also willing to be partially paid in chacken fangers be sure you let them know. If you tell them that they may hire you on the spot. I'd also recommend brining a pair of knee pads so they know you're "open minded."
