ABILENE, Texas - A man was robbed outside an Abilene strip club early Tuesday morning, according to Abilene police. The 47-year-old victim told police he was struck with a baseball bat around 2:20 a.m. outside Cloud 9, a strip club located at the intersection of East Hwy 80 and and Loop 322. According to the report, the man who hit him stole $1,300 in cash and a soft-sided cooler.
The victim suffered scrapes on his legs, but he refused to be taken to the hospital.
I bet it was the cooler the thief was really after. Because, you know, it would be cooler...
