@londonguy- no not all lesbians have short hair. Nor are we all fat, wear flannel or Birkenstocks. Those are all stereotypes. I am not fat, my hair is down to my mid back, I wear make up and the only place I have flannel is my bedsheets :)
There are plenty of super hot lesbians to be found most everywhere. Just Google the annual Dinah Shore weekend in Palm Springs and check out some of the white pool party pics. Some smoking got chicas doing some serious partying :D

@ lopaw. Having short hair was the only thing I thought of. All those other things you mentioned didn't cross my mind. I should have phrased my comment differently.
Key West is full of gay and lesbian tourists. That's where I first encountered plenty of hot lesbians. But more times there not when I saw a couple, there would be one hot female and then another less attractive, older partner.

I don't think this is very realistic. I think many lesbians have already been with a man. My sister is gay (she got married last year) and she dated and slept with guys when she was younger. I think lopaw has commented before that she "experimented" in her younger days.

I think the big difference between today's gay folk and those who grew up in a less enlightened time is that back in the day many gay people experimented with the opposite sex due to social or family pressures to do so. Some tried to luve a life that was a lie. Today many gay people identify as such very early on in life and feel no need to hide and pretend by dating or sleeping with the opposite sex. They remain opposite sex virgins. Personally I'm glad that I followed the path that I did. I learned alot about myself.
