COLUMBIA, SC An argument between two men Friday afternoon turned violent and one man was stabbed, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department said.

Deputies were called to the scene on the 100 block of Jacob Road in northwestern Richland County, behind the Platinum Plus strip club, around 4 p.m. They found a man had been stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition, Sgt. Kevin Lawrence said.

Investigators were questioning a person of interest in the stabbing and witnesses to the altercation, he said.
