Focusing on the girl from TX, the bad:
o Grossed $25,000 in 4 months, ended up with $2,000 in her bank account. o In desperation at the end of her short time in porn, did some films that only guys who get off on women being hurt and humiliated could possibly enjoy.
the good:
o No HIV infection in spite of not using condoms. o At the end, seemed headed towards a good marriage with a guy who really loved and respected her.
Based on her, you'd think yeah doing porn is a bad idea. But it's not life-ruining, less life ruining than dropping out of high school. The makers of the film didn't seem like they were trying to do any sort of whitewash, they seemed very willing to show negative stuff about the Miami porn scene. Can we hope this chick is fairly typical and most of the girls who get suckered into the "barely legal" genre of porn come out reasonably OK?
Grossing 25k in 4 months with no real skills or education ain't bad. Of course she probably paid 25% taxes at least. Good news for her is she likely got some of that back when she filed taxes.
