SAN ANTONIO - A pair of armed robberies on the near Northwest Side are believed to be connected, San Antonio police say.
Police said a man was robbed at gunpoint outside Sugar's Strip club in the 2700 block of NW Loop 410 near Vance Jackson Road around 11 p.m.
The victim handed over his cell phone and cash to the suspect, but no injuries were reported.
A short time later, police said another man was robbed at a nearby apartment complex.
The robbery occurred in the 8600 block of Fredericksburg Road near Wurzbach Road.
Police said the suspect followed the victim through the gate at the complex and robbed him.
Officers believe the two robberies are connected because the suspect in both incidents match the same description.
