TAMPA — Police are investigating the murder of a man in his 20s outside a strip club on N 50th Street early Tuesday. According to Tampa police, the man was killed outside the Playpen Gentlemen's Club at 1715 N 50th St. Officers responded to the club for a call of shots fired shortly after 5 a.m., according to Tampa police Lt. Kevin Schoolmeesters. There they found the man shot in his upper body, dead in an SUV along the side of the strip club.
He was not identified, and no further information was immediately available.
