HOUSTON -
An argument over a woman at a gentleman's club in southwest Houston left one man shot early Friday, according to Houston police.
Police said two men got into an argument over a woman at Club Onyx, a strip club located at 3113 Bering Dr., around 1 a.m.
A 39-year-old man left the club and drove away, but the man he had been arguing with apparently followed him and opened fire at the intersection of Fountainview and Richmond, police said.
The 39-year-old was shot, but managed to drive to nearby Prospect Park Sports Bar, where an ambulance was called.
He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.
Onyx is a black club which I visited back in early 2012 when I was in H-town.
Many in the black community seem to be convinced that white police officers are targeting black men – but this is an example of how is=t is way more likely for a black man to get killed by another black man often times over trivial things.
