HAGER CITY, Wis. — Two suspects are in custody after a fight early Saturday at the Border Lounge, a Wisconsin strip club just across the Mississippi River from Red Wing.
The fight left a 28-year-old man from Port Clinton, Ohio, in critical condition.
Pierce County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the club at 12:47 a.m. Saturday. They found Nicholas Alan Wadsworth unconscious on the ground near the front door, according to a sheriff's office press release. It remains unclear what caused the fight.
Wadsworth was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System, Red Wing before being transferred to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus.
A Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said the Ohio man was in critical condition as of 9:45 a.m. Monday.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office reports that two suspects are in custody, but declined to identify them Monday morning. The investigation is ongoing, according to Deputy Donny Knutson.
