Sixteen male and eight female entertainers were rescued from a suspected gay bar and strip club in Caloocan City{Philippines} before dawn Wednesday.
Police and social welfare operatives acting on a tip raided the establishment along Zabarte Road in Caloocan City, radio dzBB reported.
A photo posted by dzBB's Manny Vargas showed the "rescued" workers huddled inside a room.
The entertainers were brought to the city's social welfare office for counseling.
A report on "Unang Balita" said the raid was part of Oplan Magdalena and was undertaken following a tip from concerned citizens that the club was using minors.
An initial investigation, however, showed no minors were among the 24 rescued people.
