A 25-year-old man was shot and wounded outside of a strip club in his hometown of Farmingdale early Friday morning, Suffolk County police said.
William Proefreidt was in the parking lot of Café Royale on Route 109, when he was shot in the neck at 12:35 a.m., police said.
The victim was taken to Nassau County Medical Center, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
First Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call them at 631-854-8152
