An attempted sexual assault in a local strip club parking lot was reported to Bloomington police at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
The 22-year-old female victim reported a male forced her into his vehicle in the parking lot of Night Moves, 1730 S. Walnut St., and attempted to sexually assault her, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said. The suspect, who has not been arrested, appeared to be in his mid-20s, the victim reported to police.
The female told police she resisted and fled from the vehicle. She then returned home and reported the crime to police at about 2:57 a.m. She was taken by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for undisclosed injuries.
This is the only club in the town and this is home to the Hoosiers. Unfortunate it happened.
