PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - Investigators said on July 14, 2013 around 5:30 a.m., the Prichard Police Department received a call in reference to one shot at Suga's Strip Club on Lott Road.
The victim, identified as Demarcus L. Rudolph of Mobile, suffered a gunshot in the left wrist and left side of the torso area. Authorities said he was transported to USA Medical Center for treatment by ambulance.
According to reports, Rudolph was very intoxicated when he came out of the club begging people to take him home. Witnesses said they overheard someone telling Rudolph to get out of their vehicle. Seconds later they heard a gunshot.
Security found the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. The vehicle that was seen leaving the scene was a white vehicle.
Police said the case is still being investigated.

But I would say it's clearly a civil rights violation. Poor guy only wanted a ride home
