FARGO – Police say an argument between two men over the merits of the Army versus the Marine Corps outside a Fargo strip club escalated into a fight during which one of the men suffered a serious cut to his forearm.
Officers responded at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday to The Northern Gentlemen's Club at 325 10th St. N. Deputy Chief Pat Claus said what started as a conversation about the military deteriorated into an argument and finally a physical fight between the men outside the club's front door.
Brandon Lee Schmidt, 21, of Moorhead, allegedly pulled a knife during the fight and stabbed the 27-year-old victim, who suffered a “fairly significant†laceration to his forearm, Claus said.
Several witnesses tried to intervene, and an off-duty Northern employee was able to gain control of the knife, Claus said.
Schmidt was arrested and charged Monday in Cass County District Court with aggravated assault, a Class C felony punishable by up to five years in prison upon conviction.
The victim was taken by F-M Ambulance to a hospital with two cuts to the arm, neither believed to be life-threatening, Claus said.

Silly soldiers and marines, when will they learn that the air force is the strongest of all the branches? the air force racked up more kills, has more nukes, has more power.
