TUCSON - Tucson police are investigating an overnight shooting, that began as an altercation at a strip club near the airport, on South Tucson Blvd.

Shortly before 2 a.m. reports of a shooting at the parking lot of Club Turbulence had police responding to the scene.

Lt. Fabian Pacheco told News Four Tucson that when cops arrived, witnesses were able to give police a description of the vehicle involved in the shooting. Police caught up to that car on Valencia, east of Old Nogales Highway. A 34-year-old man with life-threatening gun shot wounds was transported to the hospital.

There are no arrests right now, and we're told suspects fled from the scene of the shooting.

Never been to this club, but it generally gets pretty crappy reviews. This kind of activity there is not much of a surprise. I suspect this place could close down and nobody would notice.
