seems to me like the quality of dancers & dancers start to decline as the club rises in popularity. several that I used to frequent have gotten a lot of great reviews here. as the crowd increases, draws a lower quality dancer. Follies in ATL is a good example. used to be able to stop by, find a good seat and get some great dances. now it's full of the thug element and the girls have definitely gone to the tattooed and pierced side.
more people ---> thug element ---> thug element chase off well-off customers ---> girls aren't making as much money so they leave ---> in comes the b-squad
Quality at Follies has definately been declining. Thug element also starting to show up more in the daytime. Not sure what the cause is. Will be going this Sat. and hoping to see some improvement.
A sizeable portion of the Detroit customer base used to be auto execs, suppliers, lenders and auto dealers. They have all taken a big hit in the past ten years, with the rrestructuring of the domestic auto industry and its supply chain. Thugs with loose dope money have filled the gap. Dancers know that white collar guys with money are few and far between, but gold tooth thugs have money to throw away. Upscale dancers may not want to dance for thugs, but 'hos will. So quality sinks to the level of the customer.
Thanks, for the post. Blonde escorts in London are available for outcalls and incalls, and whenever you like to spend time with them, so if you want to get over your hangover and jet lag you can arrange to have a lunch date with these girls the day after you return.
It seems like not only is quality diminishing, but so is attendance. We start making the rational decision that that next lap dance is enough gas money for the next week or whatever. The enterprise as a whole sucks at the consumer has to be more stingy with the money.
A solution might be closing down for a few days and opening on high volume nights. Because let's face it, the best talent is out at night on the weekend. If clubs operated on the stretch of Thursdays to Saturday night, they would save money to afford better establishments. Dancers would sell on the fewer days they had to work, quality may improve as well as quantity. And the customer, might be more inclined to go since he can just go during the week.
I don't know if that could work, but it's a thought.
IMO the best way for a club to attract the best dancers is to offer financial incentives. Eliminate house fees and tips to managers,DJs, etc. Money talks.
I agree shadow, but we all know money talks for management as well and if they eliminated tip outs and house fees they would pass that cost onto the consumer (higher cover, more expensive drinks etc.). They want their money one way or another. They would prefer to stick it to the dancers because they come and go.

Good points – but we all definitely have our preferences.
For me personally, I rather have good treatment and quality time from a 6 that is not “best talent†than a “wanna a dance†driveby from an 8+. Now a days I personally often try to avoid clubs on the busiest nights b/c it is often way too busy and girls are hustling from customer to customer try to score their next set of LDs or VIP – for me this setup/environment takes away from my enjoyment in the club.
Over the last year and a half or so, my best SC visits have either been weeknights (often times the slower Monday/Tuesday nights) or late day shift visits – I feel l have gotten much more bang for my $$$ during these visits.
I think that Shadow is on to something. There are a few small clubs in CT where the talent is far stronger than one would expect for clubs of their size and location. In each case, management has made an active decision to keep house fees low.
Some of the girls working in these clubs are refugees from the Manhattan scene, where clubs routinely take $120, plus tips are expected by the DJ, bouncers, house moms and even the makeup girls. Some of these girls just got tired of walking into work $200 in the hole sought places where they could earn without the high shakedown.
I'm with Shadow and rickdugan - I've often complimented dancers by telling them "THEY" are the reason I show up. It's not the drink specials, champagne service, crappy chairs, dirty bathroom, mundane food, and definitely not the ear-splitting music and yammering DJs. In fact, these things are actually turn-offs, or at best neutral, and definitely not worth driving an hour to experience.
And yet, what does Management do? Shake down the girls and make them feel unappreciated, which rubs off back to us in sour attitudes, begging to make tip-outs, etc.
Instead, how 'bout making the girls feel amazing and that they're at the best club going? Go ahead, take my money at the door and charge me a premium for my drinks. If I wanted free entry and cheap beer with underpaid girls, I'd go to Tilted Kilt or Hooters. What I want are happy girls who are glad to be there and get naked for me. That's it! Get that part right, and everything else falls into place. Get that part wrong, and you get most of the clubs in the US.
