Alcohol may have been involved

A 20-year-old woman was arrested outside an Allentown strip club after she slapped a police officer early Saturday, according to court records.

Allentown police were dispatched at 12:29 a.m. on Saturday on a report of a disturbance outside the Platinum Plus, 1245 Airport Road.

Police said Kelsey Jade Wrecsics, of Freemansburg, had been escorted out of the strip club by security guards and placed on the ground, according to court documents. Police did not say why she was being kicked out of the strip club.

An Allentown officer got her off the ground and she punched him in the right eye, according to court records. The officer responded, "are you serious" and she punched him again in the right eye, according to court records. She was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

Wrecsics registered a 0.09 blood-alcohol ratio, police said.

Wrecsics, of 408 Roosevelt St., was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, underage drinking, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. She was arraigned by District Judge Ron Manescu and released after posting $15,000 bail.
